Privacy Policy
The short version
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no third-party script, font or image, and makes no network request after the page loads. Nothing you type is sent anywhere — the arithmetic happens in your browser.
What is stored, and only if you ask
There is one browser storage key: yardwise.v1.save.<tool>, for example yardwise.v1.save.mulch. It is written only when you press "Save this scenario" and it contains the inputs you had on screen at that moment. It stays in your browser; it is never transmitted. "Clear" removes it.
Nothing else is stored. There is no cookie, no session identifier, no preference file and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
A shareable link is a URL, not a transmission
The "Copy a link" button puts your inputs into the page's own address as query parameters. That is a URL in your address bar; the site has no server that receives it and no code that reads it back remotely. Anyone you send the link to can load the same inputs.
When ads arrive
The site is being prepared for display advertising, and the placeholder slots on the page are inert: no script, no request, no identifier. If advertising is switched on later, this policy and the cookie notice will be updated before anything loads, and any legally required consent will be asked for at that point.
